MAG524 and MAG524w3 are high-performance 4K Linux set-top boxes. These next-gen MAG devices feature an Amlogic S905X2 chipset, a new GPU, and a 25% more powerful ARM Cortex-A53 processor.
With these devices, operators can offer uninterrupted services and a high-quality user experience. The MAG JS API ensures easy migration from early MAG set-top boxes to modern models. Upon request, we integrate MAG524 and MAG524w3 with third-party middleware and CAS/DRM.

The set-top box can be connected to the Internet via the 100 Mbps Ethernet interface. It’s designed for wired networks only.

The device has a 2T2R ac Wi-Fi module. It offers up to 100 Mbps in 2.4 GHz mode and up to 550 Mbps in 5 GHz mode.2 The device also has a built-in 100 Mbps Ethernet port.
MAG524 is a durable and high-performance device. Powered by Linux, it allows you to easily develop applications and offer integration and customization solutions. The set-top box ensures a high-quality user experience and runs for months without being rebooted.
MAG524 is 25% more powerful than the previous generation of our Linux set-top boxes thanks to the Amlogic S905X2 chipset and ARM Cortex-A53 CPU. You can enjoy even smoother playback, while the interface and applications run seamlessly.
MAG524 plays movies, shows, and TV series in 4K HDR.3 The device plays up to 60 fps. Even at slow Internet speeds, operators deliver high-quality content, as the set-top box supports H.265 and other modern codecs.
Infomir offers the API for easy middleware and DRM/CAS integration as well as application development. The possibilities are endless. Operators develop client applications for their middleware, while system integrators create software for hotels, cruise ships, and shift camps.
Users are able to enjoy Hi-Fi sound on modern TVs, audio systems, and home theaters. Dolby Digital Plus™ makes sure you get an immersive experience while watching a movie, TV show, or TV series.4
The branded UI, cases, and packaging help operators stand out from their competitors and make their brand recognizable. Companies can add their logo and colors to the standard UI or even order a unique one.
