About the partner
The partner is a system integrator working in Outdoor Hospitality and developing TV solutions for the mobile accommodation and leisure industry. These services help motorhome and caravan owners keep access to familiar TV content while traveling.
In this segment, equipment stability, easy connection, and operation without complex technical setup are especially important. That is why the integrator needed a solution that could be launched quickly and used in conditions with an unstable internet connection.
Project objective
The partner needed to create a TV solution for travelers who lose access to high-quality television on the road due to unstable internet and the complexity of equipment setup.
Existing alternatives did not fully meet the project requirements. Satellite TV involves high costs and complex operation, while low-cost Android sticks perform unstably on weak networks.
The project required a device that works on a Plug-and-Play basis and does not require engineer involvement after connection.
Infomir solution
The solution was based on a combination of the partner’s enhanced internet connection and the MAG555 set-top box from Infomir. This configuration made it possible to create a TV service adapted for motorhomes, caravans, and other mobile accommodation scenarios.
The key advantage of MAG555 was stable operation under variable network bandwidth conditions. The device does not require additional setup by technical support and allows users to access the TV service immediately after connection.
Project implementation
The collaboration began less than a year ago and became the first stage of joint work.
As part of the project, MAG555 was tested as part of a comprehensive solution for the mobile accommodation and leisure industry. The device confirmed its compliance with the key requirements: stable operation, easy connection, and no need for additional configuration after installation.
As a result, the integrator received a foundation for a TV service that can be quickly launched in Outdoor Hospitality projects and used in conditions with an unstable internet connection.
The operator chose Infomir’s solution for an IPTV project
The partner needed to select a stable IPTV set-top box that would be easy to customize. One of the key requirements was the simplicity of the interface and controls: the solution had to be intuitive for elderly users who are not familiar with modern streaming services and expect the device to provide, above all, reliable and familiar TV viewing.
