Project objective
The partner needed to fulfill an order for a large IPTV provider. The operator required devices fully prepared for its service and brand.
The key requirements included exterior branding, installation of specialized firmware during production, and the Plug-and-Play principle: end users had to receive set-top boxes ready to work immediately after connection.
For the trading company, it was important that the manufacturer could meet these requirements within a single production process and provide clear delivery timelines.

Infomir prepared the devices according to the IPTV provider’s requirements: with branding, specialized firmware, and full readiness for use within the operator’s service.
The Infomir team checked the data required to prepare the batch, transferred it to production, and supported technical matters during the approval and launch stages. This approach enabled the partner to deliver devices to the operator that were fully prepared for end users.
Project implementation
During the project, the trading company was responsible for the commercial side and logistics, while Infomir handled production, device preparation, and technical support.
The provider received a batch of set-top boxes that met the technical specification. Factory preparation of the devices helped simplify the service launch for end users and avoid additional configuration after delivery.
The partner continues to work with the MAG set-top box line and apply this experience in new customized deployments. Cooperation with Infomir has lasted for more than eight years and remains a foundation for implementing projects of various scales in the European market.
