In hospitality industry projects, equipment reliability, a modern user experience, and compliance with tight delivery timelines are especially important. Therefore, when selecting devices for hotel IPTV, the partner needed a solution that could be quickly integrated into the existing infrastructure and used in future projects.
Project Objective
The integrator’s task was to select a device to replace discontinued models. These devices were used as part of the hotel TV infrastructure, so it was important to find a modern alternative with casting support.
An additional requirement was short delivery times. These projects require strict adherence to deadlines, so the solution had to be available for delivery within a short timeframe — up to two weeks.
Infomir’s Solution
For this project, the MAG555 media player based on Google TV by Infomir was selected. It was considered as a replacement for outdated solutions.
The MAG555 successfully passed testing within the client’s infrastructure and was approved for further use. This enabled the partner to deploy a modern device with casting support in new projects.
Project Implementation
Cooperation on the project took about two months. During this time, the MAG555 media player underwent testing in the client’s infrastructure and was approved for further use.
An important part of the project was Infomir’s readiness to ensure short delivery times. This was of fundamental importance to the partner, since hospitality projects require rapid equipment sourcing and compliance with strict launch deadlines. The availability of devices in stock makes it possible to fulfill deliveries within up to two weeks, which meets the partner’s requirements.
At present, the cooperation has not been limited to a single deployment: two projects have already been completed, and the partnership continues. The MAG555 is being considered as a solution for future deployments.
